An access log is a detailed list of all the files that were accessed by the visitors of a certain site. Every file that was requested for whatever reason will be listed, so if you have a single page with three embedded pictures, one video and one embedded text file, for example, the access log shall contain a total of six entries - one for every of the 6 files which were accessed when the website visitor opened the page. A log normally shows the file name and path, the date, along with the visitor’s OS, worldwide web browser and IP address. In some cases you may also find the referrer sites that sent the visitors to your Internet site. The information which an access log file features is in human-readable plain text format. It could be processed by special software on a desktop machine and used to prepare reports on the functionality of a website, independent of the web statistics your web hosting server may have generated.

packages, you'll get in-depth access logs for your websites. When you sign in to your Hepsia Control Panel, you can check out the Access/Error Logs section where you will see a full list of the domains
and subdomains that you've added or created in the hosting account. You will only have to click on the On button, which is found on the right-hand side of each hostname and our cloud platform will start generating logs straight away. To stop this feature, you'll need to follow the very same steps and click on the Off button. The domains and subdomains can be handled independently and anytime. You'll find a download link inside the Logs section of the Control Panel for any log created by our system, allowing you to save the file to your computer system and view it or use it via some log processing software.

Our sophisticated hosting platform will create access logs for each and every site hosted within a semi-dedicated server
account, assuming that this function is enabled. All domains and subdomains that you have shall be listed in the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia CP, which we supply with all of the accounts, so if you would like our system to start producing logs for any of them, you should simply click on the compact button on the right side of the respective domain/subdomain and switch the default Off option to On.
